How soon before my event should I place my reservation?
We recommend you make your reservation at least three months prior to your event date for a large affair. To make a reservation, we ask for a deposit of one-third of the total rental for the party order and 50 percent on the tenting.
Do you have any tents I can setup myself?
Yes, a 10 x 10 popup or a 20 x 20 tent can easily be set up on a lawn or grassy area.
How many guests can we seat at a table?

How much skirting is required for a serpentine table?
If you must skirt the entire table, then you need two 10-foot sections for the sides and one 60 x 120-inch linen for the top. If the table is setup in a corner, then you will need one 10-foot section and one three-foot section, again with a 60 x 120 linen for the top. If you plan to place multiple tables end-to-end we recommend you call Party Perfect and an event coordinator will advise you on the appropriate linens.
Do all of your chairs fold?
Our various colored chivari chairs come with a one inch padded seat and are stackable. Our black, white and natural garden chairs have a ½ inch padded seat and fold. Finally, our black or white plastic with metal frames fold.
Do you have children's tables and chairs?
Yes, we have children's eight-foot rectangular tables that seat 10 to 12 children. The children's chairs are stackable (about six per stack).
How many glasses or plates should we order for an event?
For a buffet, we usually recommend one and one-half to two of each per person.
Is there a refund for unused equipment?
When you rent equipment from Party Perfect, we cannot rent the equipment to anyone else. Therefore, our policy requires us to rent our equipment based on the time it is out instead of whether it is used or not
What size table do you recommend for a wedding cake?
Usually a three- or four-foot round table is used for the wedding cake.
How large of a dance floor should I order?
Our parquet floor comes in 3 x 4-foot sections, which we assemble based on your requested size and the space available. A 15 x 16-foot dance floor will serve approximately 50 to 100 guests and a 20x21-foot floor will serve approximately 150 to 200 guests. Please keep in mind, only 25 percent of your guests will dance at one time.
What is the width of a classroom table?
Classroom tables are 15 inches wide and usually seat three people on one side at a six-foot table or four people on one side at an eight-foot table. Classroom tables are usually used for meetings or presentations.
What does delivery and pickup entail?
Party Perfect offers delivery services. The rate is based on the mileage from our warehouse. If your order is over $100, please feel free to request delivery when you make your reservation. We deliver to the ground floor or within a reasonable distance of the truck for tailgate delivery. For pickup, all equipment should be stacked, folded or bagged and returned to the same place as delivered. Equipment is usually picked up the day after the event (excluding Sundays and holidays).
What is a damage waiver?
Party Perfect offers an optional damage waiver to protect you against accidental breakage or damage to our equipment. We add it to the rental charges, but it is not taxed. Please save and return all broken or damaged items so the waiver can be applied. A damage waiver does not cover missing items; we charge full replacement cost for equipment you don't return.
If you decline the damage waiver, we require a cash or credit card security deposit and will charge full replacement costs on all items that are broken, damaged or returned with permanent stains or other obvious damage. These charges will be determined when you make your reservation.
Must we wash the dishes and glasses before returning them?
No, but please scrape off food and rinse items thoroughly to avoid being charged a cleaning fee when you return the items.
How much chocolate does the chocolate fountain hold?
The fountain holds a maximum of two seven-pound containers of chocolate. Each container serves approximately 50 guests. Please completely empty the fountain of chocolate after use and run hot water through the unit.
Does a 100-cup coffee urn require a separate circuit?
Each 100-cup coffee urns should each have a designated 15-amp circuit or it will trip the circuit breaker.
When renting a 100-cup coffee urn, is a filter necessary?
No, there is a built-in filter in the unit.
What is the brewing time for a 100-cup coffee urn?
It takes one hour to brew 100 cups of coffee. You must fill the urn with cold, not hot, water. Always follow the instructions on your coffee label to determine how much coffee to use.
Are drip-less candles really necessary when ordering candelabras?
Most locations require drip-less candles because of fire codes and insurance. If you use wax candles, most locations will require you to cover the flame. Party Perfect will also charge an additional $10 cleaning fee if the candelabra is returned with wax on it. You can choose to use your own candles.
Is the champagne fountain refrigerated?
No, the clear liquid must be refrigerated prior to placing in the fountain.
Do we have anything other than grills to prepare food for a large outside event?
Yes, in addition to our gas and charcoal grills, we have a six-burner propane oven and porta-bouya/propane tripods for deep-frying, stewing or steaming.
How much charcoal does the 2 x 5 grill hold?
The grill holds 50 pounds of charcoal.
How long will the 2 x 3 propane grill burn?
It depends on temperature, but about eight hours.
Do any of your chafers have extra food pans?
Yes, for high-volume food preparation we have extra stainless full and half pans for the two-gallon chafers.
Can we keep the plates warm prior to serving a large seated dinner?
Yes, we have crescor food warmers and plate covers to keep the food warm until served.
How long will a sterno burn in your chafers?
Usually two to three hours, which should be long enough for most events. However, we can provide extra sterno on request
I want to sauté at a serving station. Do you have any suggestions?
We offer single burner rechauds, which operate on a canister of butane fuel and will work great for crab cakes, bananas foster and other sautéed food.
How can we transport hot prepared food from the catering kitchen to the event location?
Most caterers use our four- or six-pan insulated cambros, which transports food pans and maintains the warm temperature for several hours.
