JOB DESCRIPTION
FOR
DELIVERY PERSONNEL
The following is a description of the responsibilities for the position of delivery personnel:
Equipment:
As you load your vehicle, inspect all equipment for damages and cleanliness.
Return all equipment to its proper place in the warehouse.
Be sure all equipment is stored and transported with proper protection.

Check and double check all counts on delivery and pickup.
Notify your supervisor of items returned damaged.
Customers:
Greet all customers cheerfully.
Secure payment from all COD customers as well as signatures on unsigned contracts.
Go the extra mile to satisfy a customer’s request keeping in mind established company policies.
Deliver all equipment in an orderly and timely fashion.
Vehicles:
Complete vehicle check list weekly.
Keep vehicles clean both inside and out.
Inform operations manager of any problems with vehicles.
You are responsible for the accurate loading and unloading of your vehicle.
Secure all loads properly.
Drive in a safe and courteous manner at all times.
Other:
Remain in constant radio contact with base operations.
Assist in construction and erecting all tents, stages, dance floors, flooring etc.
Assist in setting up of equipment such as tables and chairs if necessary.
Assist in knocking down equipment if necessary.
Leave all sites clean of debris, and looking better than when you arrived.
Attend store and safety meetings.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Communicate with your supervisor.
Arrive at your report time wearing your company uniform.
File all contracts properly. See supervisor for details.
